In addition to the young Kittens Available, we also have a number of older kittens and adult cats available to approved homes. Please take a moment to read about these loving pets as well as our newly available kittens. Thank you!
Cactus Run Savannah Cats and Bengal Cats are family. They have super interactive purrsonalities -- following us around and joining in whatever we may be doing. Our kittens are raised in the house under the feet of our human, canine and feline friends. They are well-socialized, healthy, happy, engaging and playful.
Here at the Cactus Run our kittens are top priority. We breed for personality, health, and beauty, all of which is crucial to a quality pedigreed cat. Cactus Run Cattery feeds and promotes a healthy, well-rounded raw food diet for cats. Information about the benefits of feeding whole-prey raw may be found on our FAQ page.
Our kittens are raised in our home. They are born in our bedrooms for privacy and closely monitored for their neonate needs. At age 4-5 weeks they begin to learn about the main house. At this time, they learn to use their litter boxes, scratching post and everything else kittens need to know! When they are a little older, and have had their shots, they move permanently into the main house and hang out with the human, dog and kitty adults.
Each kitten visits our vet for a complete check up prior to going to their new homes. They also come with a health guarantee, their 8 week and 12 week shots and worming. Where age appropriate, they are altered prior to going to their new families.
CactusRun provides a cat-oriented atmosphere filled with feline-friendly furniture, toys, habitats, enrichment and plenty of love. In return, they share their mysteries, power and grace, and humor us with their antics and acrobatics.
We believe in health and healthy practices. We screen and monitor our breeding stock for health issues regularly, and maintain a clean environment for them to live in. The cats are carefully breed for great temperament, vibrant color and pattern, and an overall exotic cat look with wonderful, friendly domestic cat personalities. Our goal is to produce beautiful, happy, healthy, friendly kittens to be your next best friend for life.
Cactus Run is located on a hillside in the warm Sonoran Desert and is the home to Bengals, Savannah Cats, and African Servals. We are USDA licensed and Arizona Fish and Game permitted.
Bengals are hybrids of the Asian Leopard Cat (ALC) and domestic cats. Savannah Cats are hybrids of the African Serval and domestic cats. African Servals are a medium-sized wild cat native to Africa. Serval territories are threatened and Servals are listed as a threatened species by CITES.
Our Savannahs and Bengals are registered with The International Cat Association (TICA), and we adhere to the guidelines and Code of Ethics.
Visitors are welcome by appointment. Please contact us. Cactus Run is a breeder of Savannah Cats and Bengal cats, and a sanctuary for African Servals. Each breed is unique, beautiful, healthy, wildly spotted, active, playful and smart.
To help offset costs of maintaining an active and healthy livelihood for our Servals, we have produced the African Serval Calendar and Art Prints. Proceeds from the sale of calendar and prints are used to help feed and house needy cats.
